Job Title: Environmental Services Associate (housekeeping)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day – 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm (with every other weekend commitment)
Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA
Position Purpose:
- The Environmental Services Associate performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department.
As an “Environmental Services Associate” you will:
- Promote sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.
- Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
- Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions.
- Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
- Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
- The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalency (required)
