As an Engineer, you develop reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that support product and business goals. You apply strong engineering fundamentals to deliver quality solutions and own your work through production. You are curious and adaptable, quickly learning new technologies and platforms, experimenting with ideas, and responsibly using AI and emerging technologies to improve engineering productivity and product outcomes.

As an Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable software using established engineering practices.
  • Apply programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to solve technical problems, seeking guidance when appropriate.
  • Write clean, modular, reusable, and testable code; participate in code reviews, design discussions, and automated testing.
  • Quickly learn, evaluate, and apply unfamiliar technologies, platforms, frameworks, and tools to solve product and engineering problems.
  • Translate product and business requirements into technical approaches and rapidly develop prototypes or proofs of concept to validate feasibility, learn, and inform solution decisions.
  • Experiment with new technologies and approaches, using learnings to improve existing solutions or identify new opportunities.
  • Use AI-assisted engineering tools for problem solving, development, debugging, testing, prototyping, and documentation while critically evaluating outputs for accuracy, security, quality, and responsible use.
  • Understand product and business needs and contribute to improvements in functionality, performance, reliability, usability, and user experience.
  • Develop an understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, dependencies, and CI/CD.
  • Own the production health of delivered features through monitoring, observability, troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Apply secure coding and defensive engineering practices to identify and remediate security risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders; communicate clearly, document solutions, seek feedback, and continuously improve.

Core responsibilities are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you
