We've made a lot of progress since opening the doors in 1942, but one thing has never changed - our commitment to serve, heal, lead, educate, and innovate.  We believe that every award earned, every record broken and every patient helped is because of the dedicated employees who fill our hallways.

At Ochsner, whether you work with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference and that matters.  Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today!

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to expand its full-time clinical faculty. Must be BE/BC in Urology and eligible for LA license.

The primary responsibilities for this position include patient care, resident education, and medical student education.  Clinical duties and responsibilities rotate among our tertiary Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions. Several da Vinci surgical systems (including a dual-console unit) are available for patient care and resident training. The successful applicant will join several full-time faculty members in a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, in conjunction with Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary, is the only major academic medical center in the area and receives patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles which includes a population of approximately 1½ million people.
