About the Role

Gap Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Tech Ops to own the operational backbone of the company's expanding portfolio of enterprise AI tools. The role provides dedicated technology-operations ownership for license lifecycle management, seat provisioning, platform administration, and ongoing operational support including ownership of the AI help desk.

You will help ensure platforms including Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot, Fal.AI, GapGPT, and future AI services can be supported consistently as adoption expands.

What You'll Do

• Own operational processes for enterprise AI tools across their full license and access lifecycle.
• Manage seat provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes, and related operational workflows.
• Establish consistent support and administration practices across a growing multi-vendor AI portfolio including the strategic approach against self service capabilities.
• Responsible for token implementation along with related compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate visibility into licenses, access, usage, operational issues, and platform status.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technology teams to resolve service and platform issues.
• Create scalable processes that reduce manual administration as enterprise AI adoption grows.
• Partner with Information Security, identity/access teams, the Office of AI, and other stakeholders on access and operational requirements.
• Develop service metrics, reporting, documentation, and operational controls for supported AI platforms.
• Identify recurring operational issues and automate or simplify processes where appropriate.

Who You Are

• Experienced technology-operations, SaaS-operations, platform-administration, or enterprise-support leader with 4+ years of experience in related fields.
• Skilled in license lifecycle management, access provisioning, and operational process design.
• Comfortable managing multiple enterprise technology vendors and platforms simultaneously.
• Strong operational discipline with attention to controls, documentation, and service quality.
• Ability to work across technical teams, vendors, and business users.
• Experience using metrics and reporting to improve operational performance.
• Effectiveness at identifying opportunities for automation and process simplification.
• Comfort supporting technologies experiencing rapid adoption and frequent change.
• Experience administering enterprise AI or productivity platforms.
• Familiarity with identity and access management, enterprise SaaS administration, or IT service management.
• Experience supporting consumption-based as well as seat-based technology services.
• Experience creating operational processes for newly introduced enterprise technologies.
