Who We Are

At Academy Sports + Outdoors our vision is to be the best sports + outdoors retailer in the country — but what truly sets us apart is our people. We’re a passionate, purpose-driven team that’s as committed to each other as we are to our customers.

We’ve spent over 80 years building a culture that puts people first. We believe in creating opportunities for growth, fostering meaningful connections, and supporting every Team Member’s journey. What fuels us? Our belief in the power of fun.

Here, you won’t just help customers gear up for their next adventure — you’ll launch one of your own. Whether you're starting out or leveling up, Academy is a place where fun can’t lose!

What You Will Work On

In this role, you help move new product capabilities from development into confident business adoption. Your work connects Product, Quality Assurance, and Business Operations so stakeholders understand what is launching, why it matters to customers, and how teams can be ready to use it. By turning product capabilities into clear business value, you support successful launches and stronger adoption across the organization.

Working across the launch lifecycle, you lead go-to-market readiness planning and execution, align features with customer value and business objectives, and coordinate preparation across operational and customer-facing teams. You demonstrate realistic end-to-end workflows, capture stakeholder feedback, translate capabilities into business processes, and create playbooks, FAQs, user guides, and other enablement materials. After release, you monitor adoption and launch effectiveness, identify barriers and enhancement opportunities, and recommend improvements that strengthen future launch and enablement practices.

Who You Will Work With

Your work brings together Product Managers, Product leadership, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Business Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, Store Operations, Omnichannel, and other business stakeholders. You collaborate across technical and operational perspectives to prepare teams for launch, communicate customer value and operational impact, integrate new capabilities into day-to-day work, and share feedback that supports product and process improvements.
