Mammography Tech - Henry Ford Health
Schedule: Contingent, Days. Candidate will be required to work in multiple facilities near the Southfield Breast Center (but within the Providence sites). Candidate must be able to work a variety of 8,10 or 12 hour shifts. Candidate is required to work at least 1 shift per pay period and at least 1 Saturday per 8 weeks. Candidate should be comfortable to work independently at some sites.

What You Will Do
- Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Utilize independent judgment to determine appropriate radiographic techniques and positioning.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and department protocols.
- Maintain compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and other regulatory requirements.
- Complete required continuing medical education to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and ARRT (M) certified (or registry eligible).
- If registry eligible, must obtain ARRT (M) within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in mammography or breast imaging.
- Familiarity with MQSA and regulatory compliance.
