Job Description
- Support end-to-end technical review and conformity assessment for Telecom, Wireless, IoT, Electrical and Electronics products.
- Review technical files, test reports, declarations, product labels and certification documents for regulatory completeness.
- Coordinate certification submissions and approvals across applicable GCC/Middle East schemes and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, laboratories, SGS regional teams and certification stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
- Strong technical interpretation, regulatory analysis and structured documentation review capability.
- Knowledge of telecom, wireless, electrical/electronics conformity schemes, approval routes and market access requirements.
- Ability to assess technical evidence, identify documentation gaps and coordinate corrective inputs with clients and laboratories.
- Good coordination, reporting and follow-up skills across regional teams, certification bodies and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, Communication Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Exposure to product compliance, conformity assessment, regulatory certification or technical documentation review preferred.
- Analytical and detail-oriented profile with ability to interpret standards, test evidence and certification requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for client coordination, laboratory follow-up and internal reporting.
Additional Information
- 2–4 years’ experience in product compliance, conformity assessment, certification support or technical documentation review.
- Exposure to telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical/electronics product categories and related GCC/Middle East approval schemes.
- Understanding of applicable schemes such as type approval, G-Mark, ECAS, SABER, IECEE, RoHS or energy efficiency programs preferred.
- Ability to review compliance evidence, identify gaps, follow up with clients/labs and support timely certification submissions.
