Job Description
As a Java Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain information systems using Java (or similar languages) and relevant frameworks in line with Salvador Caetano Group standards.
- Participate in planning and solution development, ensuring high-quality delivery within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Promote excellence and high performance within your team and the broader development community.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Clear and assertive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proven experience with Java, Quarkus, Spring, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Basic knowledge of deploying solutions on AWS.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Db2, MySQL, and SQL Server.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a cause-and-effect mindset.
- Critical thinking and the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience using Atlassian tools is a plus.
