Job Description

Join a high-performing, global team building internal IT solutions for a 500,000-user organization. You will consult directly with business stakeholders to co-create new workflow applications end-to-end, translate complex needs into clear requirements, and steer Agile delivery with UX and engineering—so solutions land on time, intuitive, and enterprise-grade. Your mix of consulting finesse, technical fluency, and product mindset will shape our next-gen workflow platform and amplify business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult & discover: engage customers, map processes, and translate business needs into epics, user stories, SRS, and acceptance criteria that guide delivery.
  • Own requirements end-to-end: drive elicitation, refinement, traceability, and scope control; capture non-functional requirements (security, performance, availability, usability).
  • Design best-in-class applications: co-create solution options, wireframes/prototypes, and service flows with UX and engineering to ensure cohesive, intuitive experiences.
  • Modernize & migrate: analyze legacy workflows, identify gaps, and lead migration to target platforms with minimal disruption.
  • Lead Agile execution: orchestrate backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and stakeholder alignment on priorities and trade-offs.
  • UAT & change readiness: plan and run UAT, create user guides/training, support rollout, and stabilize post go-live.
  • Data-driven decisions: define adoption/quality/value metrics and dashboards; surface insights that steer product roadmaps.
  • Quality & compliance: align with internal standards, policies, and applicable frameworks across the lifecycle.
  • Mentor & uplift: coach junior BAs on analysis craft, stakeholder management, and Agile ways of working.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: act as a trusted liaison between business units and engineering in a multinational context to ensure clarity and successful delivery.

Success Metrics

  • On-time releases of high-value workflow applications tied to explicit business outcomes.
  • Requirement quality: low rework and low defect leakage to UAT/production.
  • Stakeholder & customer satisfaction trending up (e.g., CSAT/NPS).
  • Adoption & impact demonstrated by usage KPIs and process efficiency gains.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • 7+ years as a Business Analyst/Consultant delivering enterprise IT/workflow applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business/Information Systems, or related.

Core Competencies

  • Requirements engineering, process modeling (BPMN/UML), backlog management, and scope control.
  • Agile delivery in cross-functional teams; solid SDLC understanding.
  • UAT planning/execution, rollout/change management, and product adoption tactics.
  • Familiarity with UX practices (wireframes, prototypes, usability feedback).
  • Data orientation—SQL basics and dashboarding/visualization are a plus.

Languages & Certifications

  • Fluent English for global collaboration; German (B2+) is a plus.
  • Nice to have: CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSPO/Agile certifications.

Attitude & Ways of Working

  • Proven ability to mentor junior BAs; comfortable running multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Technical aptitude and curiosity: quick to learn and apply AI and low-code/no-code concepts in discovery and validation.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity: thrive in a diverse, multinational environment; influential, pragmatic, and customer-empathetic communicator.

Mindset

Strategically minded, decisive under ambiguity, bias-for-action, ownership, and a passion for simplifying the complex for users.
