Job Description:

Applications for this role close on 10.11.2026.

The Role

We're looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to join our growing HR team at our Walsall Distribution Centre on a permanent basis.

This role works a fixed shift pattern of 12:00pm-8:00pm and requires on-site attendance 5 days per week. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting operational leaders, driving the people agenda, and delivering an exceptional associate experience across the site.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing HRBP team within one of TJX Europe's key distribution centres. Developed as part of our continued business growth, this role reflects our commitment to investing in our people and supporting our associates through every stage of their career.

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you'll partner with operational leaders to drive engagement, performance and talent initiatives, provide expert HR guidance, and help shape a positive and inclusive culture across the distribution centre.

What You'll Do:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and managers across the business.
  • Coach, advise and support managers on a wide range of people matters.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Expertise to deliver people plans that align with business priorities.
  • Provide proactive HR guidance across employee relations, performance, engagement and absence management.
  • Support talent development initiatives and help drive the people agenda across the site.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, influence decision-making and support business performance.
  • Partner with the wider HR team to deliver Inclusion & Diversity initiatives and key people projects.
  • Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures and business initiatives.
  • Contribute to organisational change programmes and continuous improvement activities.
  • Act as a champion for TJX culture, values and ways of working.

What You'll Bring:

  • HR experience within a fast-paced environment, ideally retail, logistics, distribution or another operationally focused business.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and a sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence partners and provide commercially focused HR advice.
  • Experience managing complex people matters and supporting organisational change initiatives.
  • The confidence to challenge constructively and drive positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and people data to support decision-making.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional HR support.
  • Experience working in a unionised environment would be advantageous.

Don't worry if you haven't previously held a HR Business Partner title. We're equally interested in experienced HR Advisors or HR professionals who have built strong stakeholder relationships, provided expert people advice, and are ready to take the next step into a business partnering role.

You must have the legal right to work in the country you are applying to.
