Job Description
- Demand alignment with sales manager and supply planning mainly from Bosch plants
- Create delivery plans
- Daily contact with the sales department, product managers and suppliers to fulfill orders and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Analyze key metric customer service level and find measures for improvements
- ABC Classification of parts
- Analyze, plan and track key planning parameters (safety stock, lead time, min lot size, rounding value etc.) for optimization of customer service and inventory level
- Manage bottleneck situations and supply concerns
- Coordinate physical movement of material
- Key user of planning tool Maestro (or any other planning tool with interest of developing to a Maestro key user)
- Participation in improvement projects aimed at automating and optimizing activities
Qualifications
- 5+ of experience in procurement planning
- Strong analytical skills; organized with excellent time management and follow up skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with international supply base
- Target and service oriented
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments and different levels of management
- Key user ability for planning system
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
- Education: completed university studies in business economics, logistics, business informatics or a comparable subject
- Experience and Knowledge: experience in building and maintaining a network of international marketing, sales and customer contacts and experts; understanding of planning processes; experience in dealing with Big Data in Excel, Power BI and other IT applications
- Languages: very good communication skills in written and spoken English
