Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team in Kildysart, Ireland. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional food service and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Working collaboratively with our catering team, you will support the preparation, presentation, and service of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. - Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items, following established recipes and procedures
- Serve meals and refreshments to customers with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Replenish food counters and service areas to maintain efficient operations during service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards
- Perform washing up and general kitchen duties, including equipment maintenance
- Support stock rotation and proper food storage procedures to minimize waste
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures consistently
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members
- Assist the catering team during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
