Term Time Only - 42.76 Working Weeks Per Year (Equated Pay)
£12.71 per hour (Equated Pay)

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at The Oxford Academy, Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, OX4 6JZ. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy school environment, supporting the catering team in delivering nutritious meals and excellent customer service to students and staff.

Job Description

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and dining facilities, helping to ensure a positive dining experience for all customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation and presentation of food
• Serving meals and refreshments to students and staff
• Replenishing food counters and service areas
• Operating tills and handling transactions where required
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties
• Supporting stock rotation and food storage procedures
• Following food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times
• Delivering excellent customer service and working effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
