Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our facilities team in Cork, Ireland. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises. The successful candidate will demonstrate efficiency, professionalism, and a steadfast commitment to health and safety protocols whilst working both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitisation of all designated areas, including offices, communal spaces, and facilities, to organisational specifications • Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures • Replenish cleaning supplies and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained throughout the shift
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to facilities management promptly and transparently • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines and emergency procedures • Manage time effectively to complete all cleaning tasks within allocated timeframes, demonstrating goal-oriented commitment
- Maintain confidentiality and respect security protocols when working in sensitive areas • Dispose of waste materials responsibly and in compliance with environmental regulations • Perform routine inspections to verify cleaning standards have been met to organisational specifications • Collaborate with colleagues and management to support a positive and inclusive workplace environment • Respond flexibly to changing priorities and additional cleaning requirements as needed
Qualifications
