Job Description

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Steward to join our team at Leuchars Station, KY16 0AA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking to build a career within a busy hospitality and bar environment. You'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and ensuring our customers receive a welcoming and professional experience.

Job Description
As a Steward, you will support the day-to-day running of catering and bar services, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness and operational excellence. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a positive experience for customers in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Serving food and beverages in line with company standards
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer enquiries
• Operating bar facilities and responsibly serving alcoholic beverages
• Operating tills and processing payments accurately
• Setting up and clearing dining and hospitality areas
• Replenishing stock and maintaining merchandising displays
• Maintaining cleanliness in front and back of house areas
• Following food hygiene, licensing and health & safety procedures
• Reporting stock shortages, maintenance issues and customer feedback to management
• Supporting the wider team to deliver a high-quality service

• 35 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7
• Shift patterns:
  • Early: 06:30 - 14:00
  • Late: 14:00 - 21:30
  • Bar: 16:00 - 23:30

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 due to bar duties
• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, bar work or customer service is desirable
• A friendly, approachable and customer-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience handling cash and operating tills is advantageous
• A flexible approach to working shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices is desirable
• A positive and proactive approach to work

Additional Information

Employment is subject to satisfactory right to work checks. Some roles may also be subject
to relevant security clearance requirements.
