Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Colonnade Restaurant, Bristol Beacon, Bristol, BS1 5AR. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual to become part of a busy hospitality operation, supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food and service within one of Bristol's most iconic venues.

What you'll be doing

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Supporting the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when required
• Assisting with deliveries and storing stock safely and correctly
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with site procedures
• Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard
• Operating kitchen cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Following food safety, COSHH, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
• Helping to maintain a safe, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications

About you

• Previous kitchen porter, cleaning, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
