Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to join our team at Normandy Barracks, Leconfield, HU17 7LX. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual to become part of a busy retail operation, providing excellent service to customers while supporting the day-to-day running of the retail outlet.

What you'll be doing

• Providing exceptional customer service in a busy retail environment
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions accurately
• Replenishing stock and maintaining product displays
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with stock control
• Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring shelves remain well stocked
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the retail area
• Assisting customers with product enquiries
• Following company procedures, food safety, and health & safety requirements
• Supporting the wider team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the store

Qualifications

About you

• Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to delivering excellent service

Additional Information

Important Requirements

• Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check
• Security vetting will be required prior to commencing employment
