The Role : What’s in the Box
The France Marketing & Product Analytics team is a small team at the core of HelloFresh France's performance management. It measures marketing and product performance, keeps the underlying data reliable, and supports the Growth and Product teams with analyses that guide daily and long-term decisions. ROI and customer lifetime value (CLV) sit at the center of marketing decisions.
The team works closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations and Global Analytics (Berlin).
The Senior Product Analyst divides their time equally between Product and Marketing. On the product side, they are the analytical reference for product decisions in France, working with the Culinary, Menu Planning and Strategy & Product Development (SPD) teams. On the marketing side, they shape growth strategy with data, weighing investment allocation and acquisition versus retention trade-offs, and explaining what drives marketing performance.
Cross-cutting responsibility: design and maintain internal analytical tools (scripts, dashboards, automations) that support the Culinary, Menu Planning, SPD and marketing workflows, and sponsor agentic analytics and AI tools across both areas.
What You'll Do : The Recipe
Product responsibilities (50%)
- Product performance reporting: present regular summaries on menu performance, recipe adoption and assortment rotation to feed management reviews, with key KPIs defined and tracked.
- Customer analytics through a product lens: analyze menu and recipe performance together with customer behavior and preferences (satisfaction, repurchase, retention by menu or recipe choice) to inform assortment decisions, and identify high-impact opportunities to feed the product strategy.
- Strategic projects: lead the analytical and operational side of strategic projects that improve the product.
Marketing responsibilities (50%)
- Strategic analyses: collaborate closely with our CMO and marketing leadership to drive strategic decisions (analyses on growth strategy, investment allocation and acquisition versus retention trade-offs).
- Top line performance deep dives: investigate the root causes behind changes in marketing performance, and explain them from a customer and purchase behavior perspective (customer segmentation, discount applied, box taken, purchase behavior over time).
- Management summaries: turn these deep dives into concise, top-level insights for management review.
What You'll Bring
- You have graduated from a top-tier engineering or business school, or hold a university degree in Data, Statistics or a related field.
- You have at least 4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data science, ideally in an e-commerce, FMCG or food-tech environment.
- You have advanced SQL skills; Python is a plus.
- You have experience with BI tools (Tableau preferred) and excellent command of Google Sheets.

- You can turn complex analyses into clear, concise and actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- You are organised, rigorous and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise multiple topics while giving each the attention it deserves.
- You are proactive: you know how to ask the right questions, not just find the answers.
- You are fluent in French and have a good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Bonus: You have a genuine passion for food and an interest in culinary or FMCG-related topics.
