The role

Own financial controlling and business partnering for Indirect Procurement spend — cost visibility, savings tracking, and spend analysis — while acting as the team's senior controller for indirect cost matters more broadly.

Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.

What you’ll do

  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close for indirect procurement-related costs
  • Act as primary finance business partner to the Indirect Procurement team — embedding in planning cycles, tracking savings, flagging risks/opportunities, translating financial data into business insight
  • Partner closely with Indirect Procurement on spend analysis and vendor cost reporting
  • Build and maintain recurring reporting; lead automation of manual controlling processes
  • Guide the Junior Indirect Cost Controller's work across budget, personnel, and procurement support
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and business cases as needed

What you’ll bring

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Several years' experience in controlling, FP&A, or procurement finance, ideally including some team or workstream ownership
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets/data skills; experience with BI/reporting/A.I. tools is preferred
  • Comfortable partnering directly with non-finance stakeholders, particularly Procurement
  • Process-improvement mindset — interested in automating and streamlining reporting
  • Fluent English; additional languages a plus
